I have been listening to the chatter outside my office today and I can tell the kids are getting excited about the soon to come holidays.
December is always a special month around Tabernacle. It begins with the Torch Classic, the longest running Christian school tournament in Alabama. This year the varsity boys team finished third out of eight teams.
Today we had a Christmas production from the drama class. How do those students memorize so many lines? Last Sunday I began my Christmas series, ” Christmas Words”.
Pam took the day off so she and others could get the auditorium ready for Sunday night’s Christmas program. Our administrator Bro. Dickson tells me that first semester exams begin on Monday followed by several other Christmas programs and the staff brunch and then……the actual holidays!!…I think I need a nap already!
But with all that’s scheduled, there is nothing like this very special time. Let’s be thankful to God that he has given us another year to celebrate the birth of His Son and our Savior!!
